Reasonable Pickup and Return times
Please be considerate and try and plan the vehicle pickup and drop for normal office hours. We recommend you arrange to pickup before 4pm and return the vehicle before 10am on the return hire date.
Handover times
Always allow 40 minutes for a handover, both for collection and return of the motorhome. During the motorhome pick-up handover you will be shown how to use the motorhome such tasks as changing the toilet cassette and gas bottle changing. When you return the motorhome it will be checked over to ensure that everything is in good condition and fuel tanks are at the same levels as when taken out.
Plymouth Airport Information
Opened in 1923 as an experimental project offering flights to Birmingham, Manchester and Belfast.
In 1925 the airport was used as a parcel hub to help speed up the transatlantic mail service. Airplane couriers such as Western Air Express, Olley's Air Service and Railway Air Services used the airport on their mail routes.
It was not until July 1931 that the airport was officially opened by HRH Prince of Wales, Edward VII.
