How do I list my motorhome with you?

How much money will I make?
The amount of money you achieve overall will depend on the number of weeks you make your motorhome available for hire and how popular your vehicle is with customers. For each hire, you will receive 75% of the NET hire fee. This is the amount after the VAT and insurance has been subtracted. You will make more money for hires in the peak summer season.
What do I need to do?
All admin, sales, insurance and breakdown cover is arranged by us. You will need to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy, is taxed and has a valid MOT and gas safety certificate. When the hirer arrives, you will give them full instruction on the operation of your motorhome, and obtain their signature on the hire documentation. You will supply the motorhome in a clean condition and in full working order. We supply full support, guidance, a DVD instruction manual and laminated documentation to assist.
What is a Gas Safety Certificate?
A gas safety certificate is issued after a gas safety check has been carried on your motorhome. You must arrange this annually to legally hire out your motorhome. The check will cost around £60. View the Gas Safe Register to find a certified engineer.
Can I buy insurance for my own hires?
Yes. This can be arranged for registered Motorhome Group members.
Can I list with other companies too?
Of course. Your motorhome is your private property and you can list it with whoever you choose. Our members are very satisfied with our high standard of service and stay with us year after year. We only ask that you keep your availability dates current and we are always happy to hear suggestions from you.
Will I lose money if the hirer cancels?
No. If a hirer cancels more than 4 weeks before the hire start date, you will not receive a member fee. If the hirer cancels less than 4 weeks before the hire start date, you will receive the full member fee. It is advisable not to arrange extras such as bedding, child seats or airport transfers more than 4 weeks before the hire for this reason.
