Overview of the Hire Scheme
The Motorhome Group has been created to enable private individuals to earn income from the hire of their motorhomes.
The key concern for our motorhome scheme overview has been all designed to safeguard and maintain the vehicle and provide a consistent and high quality service which complies with trading legislation.
The Motorhome Group assures these conditions are met by only selecting members who will agree to the National Standards of Quality of Service and by attracting discerning hirers. Our qualified booking team of administrators follow the process from the initial enquiry through to the sign off at the end of the hire.
You will receive:
- 75% of the net hire fee
- Full support and training to hire your vehicle from home
- Hire fees from putting your vehicle to work for periods when it would be idle
- Access to Nationwide hire vehicle support services
This is not a "Get Rich Scheme" but a genuine opportunity to enjoy a quality motorhome and minimise the cost of ownership.
There is no charge to become a member, but we do require that you make your vehicle available for hire for periods throughout the year.
Strength of the Rental Market
Motorhome rental is enjoying a year- on -year increase for holidays, short breaks and corporate events. The demand is seasonal and no one company can satisfy the peak demand and retain that number through the low season. The demand is also widespread throughout the UK. Customers prefer to arrange pick up and delivery close to their homes.
Unlike a private car, motorhomes and campervans are not in constant use and there is enough spare capacity within private motorhome ownership to satisfy peak demand. This scheme enables the hire market to tap into that resource and provide you with a good return.
Financial Benefits of Hiring out your Vehicle
The Motorhome Group is more than a booking agency and needs its members to work towards achieving the highest standards of service. It is more like a franchise without the buy-in costs. We return up to 75% of the net hire fee and also return an end of year bonus to all members. This is a unique offer to encourage you to participate in the future performance of the group and share in its success.
The net hire fee you will receive is based on the retail value of your vehicle and the duration of the hire period. To be fair and consistent, the retail values we use are obtained from Trade guides and we will allocate a category number to the motorhome.
How much income will be generated?
As this is a business no one can say with certainty how much income you will receive. Base your estimates on your location and when you think you will not be using your motorhome.
Clearly, earnings are high in the Peak Season but if this is when you use your motorhome remember off Peak is when there are still plenty of people around not tied to school holidays and looking to keep their costs down.
