Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd
Sainsburys is one of the UK's most popular supermarkets.
Sainsbury promote via their website:
Healthy food customer practices
Respecting the environment
Making a positive difference in local communities
And providing a good life balance for staff
Sainsbury's worked closely with BP in 2004 to offer fuel at their supermarkets.
Sainsbury's has become committed to offering cleaner fuel alternatives to customers. City Petrol first was sold by Sainsbury in 1998. City Petrol is a cleaner, low-emission unleaded-petrol. In 2001 Sainsbury's started a partnership with British Gas to provide LPG on supermarket forecourts. AutoGas is both a cleaner and cheaper alternative to petrol or diesel as a road fuel. Vehicles do need to be specially converted to run on AutoGas fuel.
If you have a AutoGas vehicle you can find local fueling stations at BoostLPG.
