Glastonbury Festival Campervan Party
Glastonbury Festival Campervan Hire
Glastonbury Festival is about enjoying the music and soaking in the atmosphere. Soaking in the atmosphere is about the only thing you want to soak in. Rain and Glastonbury can go hand in hand. At the end of a cold wet day, a hot shower and a warm dry campervan is luxury indeed.
Taking a campervan to Glastonbury Festival is the best way to travel and camp, warm, dry and with some style. Leave camping in a tent to the teenagers; you are in your Glastonbury Festival Campervan. To make the whole event a comfortable and totally enjoyable one, here are some tips to making the whole experience go smoothly:
- Make sure you take clothing for wet weather as well as hot weather. Glastonbury Festival is renowned for changing weather conditions. Wellies, brollies, waterproofs are essential. Also take some bin liners or plastic bags so you can store wellies in your campervan lockers without getting mud every where.
- Take some Paper kitchen towels or cloths to clean the floor when you are ready to come back. Some friends of ours covered their floors and upholstery in cling film! On returning they quickly transformed a muddy campervan into a gleaming, clean one without any effort!
- Take some throws or sheets to cover up seats and upholstery. This makes sure that things stay clean for your return and you guard against the cost of stain removal being deducted from your deposit.
- Take bottled water to drink and keep it in the fridge once opened.
- Make sure your campervan always has plenty of fresh water in the water tank as running dry can burn out your water pump.
- Empty your toilet cassette daily to keep hygienic and avoid smells. Only use the approved campervan toilet fluid to kill all bacteria.
- Take torches and some battery spares in your campervan.
- Each morning, charge up your campervan leisure battery by running your vehicle engine. The vehicle engine is doing the same job as a generator. Without an electric hook up its essential you keep your leisure battery charged. You don't want to have no running water or lights late at night!
- " Make sure you arrive on site with plenty of fuel in your campervan. Getting Diesel on the way back near Glastonbury may involve queues at Fuel stations.
