Online availably for Glasgow Airport Motorhome Hire.
Delivery and Pickup Charges
Delivery and pickup charges will be mentioned on the vehicle details you select. When you are given the member contact details you can finalize the pickup arrival and departure details.
Bedding and linen costs
On selected vehicles bed linen can be hired. There is no charge for standard kitchen pots, pans and cutlery. This is very useful for international hirers who will find it difficult to travel with bedding. We do not recommend you use sleeping bags, hiring bedding allows you to have a better sleep experience and should feel more like home.
Reasonable Pickup and Return times
Please be considerate and try and plan the vehicle pickup and drop for normal office hours. We recommend you arrange to pickup before 4pm and return the vehicle before 10am on the return hire date.
Handover times
Always allow 40 minutes for a handover, both for collection and return of the motorhome. During the motorhome pick-up handover you will be shown how to use the motorhome such tasks as changing the toilet cassette and gas bottle changing. When you return the motorhome it will be checked over to ensure that everything is in good condition and fuel tanks are at the same levels as when taken out.
Glasgow Airport Information
Glasgow International Airport is now Scotland's busiest airport. Glasgow provides 40 airlines using two runways offering 90 destinations to domestic and international travellers.
It started life as in 1932 as RAF Abbotsinch an overspill for a RAF Renfrew. It was known as HMS Sanderling until 1943 when the Royal Navy gave it to the Royal Air Force.
Glasgow's Airport was officially opened in 1966, with over 1 million passengers using the airport in the first year.
In 1973 the airport was extended to allow large jets such as 747's to land. In the 1990s Prestwick airport lost its monopoly as an airport for international flights. Prestwick airport's loss was Glasgow International Airport's gain, now with more flights offered by low cost airlines the airport is well placed for the new millennium.
